On Saturday, June 9 from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Heirloom Linens at Broadmead Village will host their Massive Yard Sale with 100% of the proceeds going to Victoria Hospice.
“Victoria Hospice is our charity of choice this year,” says Heirloom Linens owner Joan Ianson, who has periodically held giant yard sales to benefit local charities for two decades.
“We feel strongly about the services Victoria Hospice provides the community. Our family has personally experienced their compassionate end-of-life care and we are greatly appreciative.”
The last massive yardsale in 2016 raised more than $20,000 for Victoria Hospice. Thank you, Heirloom Linens, for your generosity and deep level of community engagement!
On offer: Slightly flawed or lightly damaged merchandise at bargain basement prices. Shoppers can find toss cushion covers, pillow shams, and pillow cases all priced at $1 – $2. As well: miscellaneous bed skirts, duvets, duvet covers, sheet sets, towels, window panels and other home decor accessories.
- Heirloom Linens is located at #380-777 Royal Oak Drive.
- Event from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm. No arrivals before 9:00 am.
- 100% of proceeds go to Victoria Hospice
We look forward to seeing you on June 9th!
Did you know? Donations fund almost half of Victoria Hospice’s annual operating costs and are critical for the ongoing operation of programs for patients and families and for education and research. Over the past year, Victoria Hospice has raised over $3 million dollars. This remarkable accomplishment was made possible by generous donors and community events.
