29th Annual Swimathon for Victoria Hospice

Event Date:
Saturday, October 04, 2014

Victoria Hospice is proud to announce the 29th Annual Swimathon!  Since 1986, Swimathon has been an important and much loved Victoria Hospice event that has raised over $2M for end-of-life care.  This year, a self-directed Swimathon will take place in the fall to align with World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on October 11th, 2014. We can’t think of a better way to honour a Victoria Hospice tradition and celebrate World Hospice Day.

How it works: Swimmers of all ages and abilities are invited to raise funds by collecting pledges for swimming laps and being active. Between October 5th – 12th 2014 participants will be able to visit any one of the 10 participating recreation facilities free of charge to swim your laps or just take a dip. Pools will be open to participants during regular length swim times.
