Education & Research

The Education and Research Department was created in 2014 by merging Education Services and the Research and Development office.

Victoria Hospice has been a leader in the development of information, tools and resources to assist in the provision of expert palliative care and has emerged as an international expert in palliative pain and symptom management.

We offer publications, courses and clinical tools for professionals.

We conduct ongoing research in the field of palliative care, and use the information we gather to develop tools to improve the quality of care provided to patients.

We provide resources and training to hundreds of staff and volunteers, both clinical and non-clinical, working at Victoria Hospice.

We provide many education opportunities for medical professionals, volunteers, caregivers, and other health care providers.
