Saanich Peninsula Hospital Palliative Care Program  
   

Saanich Peninsula Hospital has a 10-bed palliative care unit for patients living on the Saanich Peninsula north of Victoria, British Columbia who require short-term symptom management or a longer stay of up to three months.  This service is open to all residents within the Vancouver Island Health Authority - South Island. 

Access to the Saanich Peninsula Palliative Care Program is primarily through the family physician, who can refer to community resources and Victoria Hospice services, as well as mobilize services within a facility, such as the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, Sidney Intermediate Care and Rest Haven Lodge.
