"Dear Hospice newsletter editor,
I have battled cancer twice in the past 10 years, and always at some level of consciousness wonder if I will be facing death by cancer at some point in my future. And just like every other person facing that possibility, I wonder about pain control and other 'details’ of that death. So, it was with vested interest that I read your Victoria Hospice newsletter last weekend.

I was comforted by everything I read. Your newsletter was full of information but also full of caring and humanity. I loved the stories about the animal visitors, and I found the pictures of your patients with Victoria Hospice staff very moving.

Thank you for a wonderful glimpse into a world that all of us hope we won’t be part of anytime soon, but are so grateful to know exists.
