The
Victoria Hospice Volunteer accepts the following responsibilities:
| 1 |
To
work as a member of the Victoria Hospice Team, accepting supervision
from and communicating relevant information to the Coordinator of
Volunteers. |
| 2 |
To work
with consideration, courtesy and dignity at all times. |
| 3 |
To uphold
through her/his actions the mission and vision of Victoria Hospice. |
| 4 |
To
be punctual and conscientious in carrying out assignments. |
| 5 |
To respect
the confidentiality of information received through Victoria Hospice
work. |
| 6 |
To continue
the processes of learning and personal growth by participating in
ongoing education and support programs offered by Victoria Hospice. |
| 7 |
To commit
an agreed amount of time per week to Victoria Hospice service, preferably
for a minimum of six months. |
Victoria Hospice accepts the following responsibilities:

To
provide volunteers with orientation, training, supervision, and support. |
| 2 |
To treat
volunteers as respected members of the Victoria Hospice staff, respecting
their unique gifts. |
| 3 |
To seek
volunteers' ideas, opinions and assessments of the program, and to
act on their recommendations. |
| 4 |
To
provide volunteers with opportunities for growth and advancement through
ongoing educational offerings and personal support. |
